Advanced Composition - Online
Composition is a lifetime study for all visual artists, and the basic visual elements have remained the same throughout history, even prior to photography. In this online course, you'll learn the ways visual artists divide up the canvas or viewfinder to organize the frame. You'll also take a deep dive into the theory behind the practice and what historical facets - like Gestalt psychology and the Japanese Principles of organizing images - have influenced the modern photography era.

Students are expected to have a thorough understanding of their camera and its settings.
This course will take place on Zoom. You will receive an email with the link upon completing your registration.
You may cancel up to seven days in advance to receive a refund. After that time no refunds or credits will be issued, no exceptions. PPAC will not provide refunds for courses missed as a result of students’ illness, emergencies, absence or any other events beyond PPAC’s control.
