The Decisive Moment: Street Photo
Street photography is one of the most prolific genres in photography with a rich history, ranging in style from candid images to orchestrated portraiture. Great street photography involves quickly synchronizing many of the core elements of photography with the input of personal vision. This class will help you to overcome the difficulties of working with strangers and will guide you towards discovering your own voice. Topics include: how to choose the right equipment, troubleshooting any technical and practical issues, plus tips for how to gain subjects’ trust. You will be completely immersed in the genre with class outings, shooting assignments and hands-on instruction, both out in the field and in class discussions.
