Face Value: The Photographic Portrait - Online
Learn to think as a director, observing and collaborating with subjects to reveal themselves. This course will spark your imagination with slide lectures that illuminate trends in portraiture as seen in street photography, narrative photography, and self-portraiture. Weekly assignments and lighting demonstrations with both artificial and natural light will inspire you to expand your practice.

Students are expected to have an understanding of their camera and its settings.
This course will take place on Zoom. You will receive an email with the link upon completing your registration.
You may cancel up to seven days in advance to receive a refund. After that time no refunds or credits will be issued, no exceptions. PPAC will not provide refunds for courses missed as a result of students’ illness, emergencies, absence or any other events beyond PPAC’s control. In the event that PPAC has to cancel a course you have registered for, you will be contacted two days before the course is scheduled to begin. You will have the option of receiving a refund or a credit towards a future course
