The Photograph as Object - Online
In this exciting new course we will discuss the many ways the photographic image has been transformed from a flat two-dimensional image to a physical three dimensional object. While exploring the history and criticism of such artists as Hito Steyerl, Allan Sekula, Adrian Piper, Alfredo Jaar, Sarah Sze and more, students will have an opportunity to investigate these concepts and practices in their own work. After this course students will not think about the straight photographic print in the same way ever again. Don’t miss your opportunity to expand your thinking and artistic practice.
